Rules
Season
The regular season runs for the first 13 weeks of the NFL calendar. Each week, all 40 teams compete against each other in a DFS-style contest on DraftKings.
Earning horns
Horns are the league's points. There are two ways to earn them each week.
Divisions
The 40 teams are divided into 8 divisions, with 4 divisions in each of two conferences, the NFC and the AFC.
For each new season, divisions are made as competitively balanced as possible based on prior seasons' data. New owners are placed into a division with someone they know whenever possible.
Playoff spots
At the end of the regular season, only eight teams from each conference advance to the playoffs. The team from each division with the most horns is crowned division champ and earns a top 4 seed.
The four wildcard teams from each conference are the four remaining teams with the most horns. For playoff format, see the Playoffs page.

If more than two teams are tied in the conference standings and two or more of them are in the same division, the division tiebreakers are used first for those teams before moving on to the conference tiebreakers.
Activity
Consistent activity from all 40 owners is imperative to the success of the league, especially as interest from prospective owners has continued to grow.
- Anyone who takes a zero is placed on probation for the following season.
- Anyone who takes two zeroes in the same season, or anyone on probation who takes one zero during the season, is subject to being replaced.

Postseason
Playoffs
The RFL playoff format is set up almost identically to the NFL's. The lone exception is four wildcard teams per conference rather than three.
Within each conference there are three rounds. Each round is a single contest: the top half of teams advance and the bottom half are eliminated.
In each round of the conference playoffs, teams with a top-half seed receive a tiered home field advantage bonus based on their seeding, shown on the bracket below.
The champions of each conference advance to play each other in the Rhino Bowl.
